🦷🦷 FEBRUARY IS DENTAL MONTH🦷🦷

Below are two pictures:
🦷 Before and after cleaning of a grade 4 dental disease
🦷 some various dental X-rays we have taken last year. All of these mouths had severe dental tartar. Some of them had loose teeth due to bone loss and some looked normal except we saw bone loss on the X-rays!

👀 Check out this interesting case we have seen👀

Our patient presented to us with vomiting. Owner stated he ate his normal meal the night prior and then vomited everything back up. He vomited multiple times throughout the night and then would not eat that morning. He does have a habit of taking socks and chewing them up. His f***l showed that he had whipworms and roundworms. He received a dewormer and was treated for his vomiting. He was given subcutaneous fluids and Cerenia (a medication to stop the vomiting). He vomited several times overnight. He tried to drink water and could not keep it down. Radiographs that morning, indicated that he had a foreign body. We prepped him and performed an exploratory surgery. We removed a long white sock (real sock not pictured). He did great recovering and went home to his sweet family. He is doing amazing since surgery.
