In Regards to Ms. Lady leaving us, we will be having a drop in going away party for her both Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2-4pm and Sunday, Sept. 15th from 1-3pm for anyone wanting to drop in and say their goodbyes and see you soon.

She won't be going too far and we will able to keep up with her future endeavors. So happy our good friend and instructor Jane is buying her.

We have been keeping it quiet for alittle while but since Lady passed her PPE yesterday we can share. Lady is being sold to one of our instructors Jane and will be leaving us Sept 15th. We will Def miss her but we know she is going to the very best home where she will get training and a job. We will be excited to see her progress. We will be having a small drop by going away party for her for anyone to come by and see her one last time and say goodbye. I'll be posting in the next few days.

I posted a few pics of beautiful lady below. Congratsto jane and lady on their new adventures.

Camp details.

Just a friendly reminder that camp balances are due by the Friday before camp. Balance must be paid to attend.

Below are the details for first day of camp.

For camp Monday they will need a change of clothes and towel each day, bring their own lunch. (We provide snacks and drinks). Also they must wear pants a boot with a heel and they can change clothes after they ride. We will have a water activity each day. (No swimming in the pond). The barn is behind the house and I will have a sign to show you where to go. We have 1 driveway so please be cautious of other cars coming and going. (There will be places to pull over if you need to). It circles around the barn area. Parents will have to sign a liability form when they drop off. No other forms of paperwork.

Drop off time is 8:45-9am and pick up is 1-1:30pm. Look forward to meeting you guys Monday morning.

Horses, majestic and spirited, are far from a modest expense. Especially trained horses, they demand not only a significant financial commitment but also a deep well of care and devotion. The cost of nurturing these delicate creatures ranges from $300 to $1500 monthly, covering essentials such as feed, dental care, vaccines, and much more. Their care requires immense time and labor, making barn owners' vacations a rarity. Instructors, reliant on the whims of weather and other variables, strive to meet their monthly dues, often with great difficulty.

Entry-level lesson barns, though they bring joy to many, are seldom lucrative and always challenging. If fortune leads you to a barn where your horse-loving child can learn and grow, remember the responsibility that comes with it. Pay your dues promptly. If you promise to send money via Venmo, do it without delay. Commit only if you can truly afford it. Just as you wouldn't leave a Starbucks or McDonald's drive-through without paying, respect the barn's financial needs in the same manner.

Remember, your word matters. If you commit to a lesson, honor that commitment. A canceled lesson isn't just an inconvenience; it impacts the instructor's income, the weekly grocery budget, and the barn's ability to sustain its horses. Running a barn is a labor of love, exhausting yet fulfilling. Support these sanctuaries by valuing your instructors and barns, treating them with the respect and consideration they deserve. Only through collective effort can we ensure these havens for horse lovers continue to thrive.
