Our Story
Home Sweet Home is the name of my petting business. It was born at a time when it was clear to me that I needed to work for myself. The problem; what can a fifty-something year old woman with loads of life experience, but no official degree do? As I sat pondering this query, my own fur babies were snuggled around me, giving off that silent, yet palpable love and support that our animal friends do. At that moment, my daughter, Carla, who lived in New York City at the time, called and suggested dog walking as a business. Fast forward a few months after, with the love and support of my family, Home Sweet Home quickened and came alive.
This page is where I can tell you all about my business and my experiences. I’ll share photos of the beautiful critters I have the incredible good fortune of caring for them when mom and/or dad are away. You’ll get to know my personal family of four legged kids.
