Nathalie Green, Director The program develops horsemanship by providing lessons in caring for the horses and their equipment before moving on to the activities on horseback. The care of, and relationships established with, horses inspire confidence and responsibility. Riders learn balance and coordination, while receiving deep muscle stimulation not reached through conventional therapy. Other bene

Seven riders, four volunteers and two horses will be heading to the State KY Equestrian Special Olympics Saturday the 28th at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, KY
Gracie, riding Picasso, will be one of the riders representing our program. She will be competing in Walk Dressage and English Equitation

TRAIL Therapy Horses is now accepting new students in the elementary and middle school grades. TRAIL is designed to provide students with special needs basic trail riding opportunities along with opportunities to learn fundamental horse/equipment care. There are also opportunities for students to learn ground work if they would prefer to work with horses from ground level rather than ride them. Although TRAIL is developed and designed for students with special needs, students without special needs are also welcome for basic trail riding/horsemanship lessons. TRAIL has been providing services to the area for 15 years and is looking forward to meeting new students.
