📢 Important Schedule Update 📢

On Thursday, March 20th and Friday, March 21st we will be open for:
✅ Tech appointments
✅ Boarding, drop off and pickups
✅ Medication & food pickups

However, we will not have a doctor on-site those days as Dr. Shrum and Dr. Pate will be taking time off to enjoy Spring Break with their family! 🌸👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

If your pet needs to see a veterinarian, please schedule accordingly. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope everyone enjoys the start of spring! 🌿🐾

Multiple cats have died from H5N1 influenza, the "new" bird flu virus, after contracting the disease from raw diets. This virus has developed the ability to easily infect numerous mammalian species and has led to many serious outbreaks in wildlife around the world. While H5N1 has been reported in humans, it has so far produced relatively mild disease and hasn't developed the ability to easily transmit between humans.

How do you protect your cat from this virus? Don't feed raw diets to cats and prevent bird predation as much as possible. Here's some great information from an excellent veterinary blog:
