🌟 Social Club Success! 🌟

Today, we hosted our very first Social Club at the facility, and wow — what an amazing turnout! 🐾 We were thrilled to see so many of our wonderful clients and their dogs come together for a fun, engaging, and productive experience.

The purpose of our Social Club is to help dogs develop neutral energy around other dogs and people, while also giving their owners an opportunity to hone their handling skills in a more dynamic setting. It's a fantastic way to shake things up, challenge both dogs and humans, and take training to the next level.

For today’s event, we kept it simple but effective! We even introduced a small, hand-built jumping pole for dogs to try out. It was a great experiment, and we’re already brainstorming ways to make future events even better. 🛠️

For our next Social Club, we plan to introduce a wider variety of obstacles and activities to keep things exciting and enriching for everyone involved. Stay tuned for updates — we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!

🌨️❄️ Snow Day Treats for Our Pups! ❄️🌨️

South Carolina surprised us with a snow day, and while many training sessions had to be rescheduled, we made sure the dogs here had an extra-special day! 🐾✨

Our team whipped up some delicious homemade treats to keep the pups happy and entertained. 🥄🐕 Here's what we made:
💙 West Paw Cups – Packed with creamy yogurt, blended fruits, and veggies, topped off with a drizzle of goodness.
❤️ Frozen Yogurt Shapes – Fun designs made using silicone trays, blending nutrition and fun into every bite!

🍓🥕 Not only are these treats nutritious, but they’re also a great way to add enrichment to your dog’s day. They’re a hit with every pup here—just look at these adorable creations!

🌟 Welcome to the Family, Sweet Boy 🌟

After the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Casper to cancer just days before Christmas, we thought our hearts weren’t ready to welcome another dog so soon. But sometimes, the universe has other plans.

While scrolling through Greenville Animal Care's website, we came across a face that stopped us in our tracks. Eeyore had been at the shelter since early November 2024. At 5 years old, he’s already been through so much in his life. A severe neglect case, he came with skin issues, double ear infections, malnourishment, and heartworm. While we don’t know his full story, it’s clear he’s endured more than any dog ever should; likely living his life outdoors with little care or love.

On January 18, 2025, we made the decision to bring him home. And just like that, this resilient, gentle soul became part of our family. 💕

Though his road to recovery is just beginning, we’re committed to giving him all the love, care, and healing he deserves. He’s already shown us how strong and sweet he is despite everything he’s been through.

We’re torn on what to call him, though! Right now, we’re deciding between keeping his shelter name, Eeyore, or renaming him Louie. What do you think suits him best? We’d love your input! Let us know in the comments. 🐾

Today, we woke up to a winter wonderland here in South Carolina—and our first snow day at the new facility! The dogs and cats had a blast exploring the snow, and we couldn’t resist capturing some beautiful moments. 🐾💙

From playful paw prints in the snow to serene shots of the lush greenery peeking through the frost, our 6-acre property truly showed off its charm. It's the perfect mix of winter magic and year-round natural beauty. 🌲❄️

Did You Know? 🐾🎓

Ringo, a high-energy pup less than a year old, recently graduated from our training program at Complete K-9! 🎉 While we’re celebrating his hard work, Ringo’s story is a great reminder that a dog is never done training.

Training is an ongoing journey, not a one-time event. Our job is to equip owners with the tools and knowledge to grow and evolve alongside their dog well after training ends. For pups like Ringo, consistency and continued practice are key to maintaining good manners and building even stronger bonds with their families.

Ringo’s success is also a team effort, and we want to give a special shoutout to his owner, Dr. Barr, from Furwell Veterinary Hospital 🩺🐕. 🌟 In Loving Memory of Apollo 🐾

We are heartbroken to share that Apollo, one of our cherished client dogs, has passed away unexpectedly. 💔 Since he was just a puppy, Apollo has been part of our Complete K-9 family, filling our days with his sweet spirit and joyful energy. 🐶✨

Though his time with us was far too short, Apollo brought endless love and happiness to everyone he met. 🌈❤️ He will always hold a special place in our hearts.
