Brrrr... 🥶

Well, Fish Fans 🐠💕 ... you can definitely feel the season starting to change. This is around the time that folks turn their ponds off for the year. If so, don't forget to plug your air pumps in and sneak a de-icer in your pond before we get a good freeze.

De-icers are a higher wattage than an aerator, so you don't need to plug it in right away but it's definitely easier to have it in place before you need it. (Ask me how I know... 😜)

Stop in any day between 10-5 and get any pond winterizing items you need. We look forward to seeing you soon!

TGIF, Fish Fans! 🐠💕

If you've been watching the radar, you know we're in for some wonky weather starting Sunday. Don't be caught unprepared!

We have battery powered air pumps for sale to use as back ups in case you lose power. Remember that keeping air moving is the most important in an outage. And even if your fish are on a specific feeding schedule, it's better to have them skip meals for the short term if the filters aren't running.

Howdy, Fish Fans! 🐠💕 If you've followed the page for awhile, you know that around this time of year, the posts get a little mushy.

Thirteen gets a bad rep for being unlucky. However, when it comes to 13 years of working with the team here at Emmons, I'd say it's pretty lucky.

You don't find a place like this just anywhere, especially not when little pet stores get choked out by big name companies. Emmons is the little fish store that could (ever since the mid 1960's), thanks to a group of hardworking knowledgeable folks who bring just as much heart as experience to the table.

All of you get the benefits of their friendly fish wisdom anytime you pop in (we're open 10-5 daily 😉), but I'm kind of spoiled and get to experience it full time.

We know how much you love to come visit our epic flowerhorn cichlid... but he'll be attending cookouts and fireworks shows all day and won't be available for your adoration. I guess we'll just have to close the store today for July 4th. 😅

Summer has certainly made its presence known and next week will be full of fun and fireworks. Our pond yard is blooming so come in and get your pond looking lively for your 4th of July celebrations.

We are open every day from 10-5 with the exception of Friday, July 4th when we will be CLOSED for the holiday. We look forward to seeing you soon!
