Sexy Shrimp🦐
The Sexy Anemone Shrimp is named for its unusual body movements. When they walk, they sway their abdomen back-and-forth.
🌎 Native to the reefs of the Indo-Pacific. They are generally perched on live rock, anemone tentacles or coral frags
📏 Their max size is 1-1/2”
🍽️ They eat plankton, and meaty foods
🧪They are very hardy but can not tolerate high nitrate levels
🪸 They are reef compatible
☺️ Sexy shrimp are peaceful but should not be kept with predatory fish that might attack them

This week we have Koi!
Koi fish or Japanese carp, are fish with colors and patches raised and kept for appreciation. The carp originates from China and was brought to Japan by means of gifts 🎁 🐠
A fun fact about koi fish Koi fish are omnivores and are known to eat pond plants as well as different kinds of fish, eggs, lettuce, watermelon, and peas. Koi fish can grow up to three feet long if raised in appropriate conditions. Due to their sensitive skin, koi need shade and deep water because they are susceptible to sunburn. 🐟
In the store you can typically find many different sizes of koi with many different colors, patterns, and variations!

Gouramis also known as Osphronemus goramy, true gourami, or even the common gourami.
🐟A fun fact about these fish is that Gouramis have the amazing ability to gulp air from the surface of the water. These fish possess a unique labyrinth organ behind the head that allows them to extract oxygen from the air, supplementing oxygen attained through their gills!
We have many different types of Gouramis including the gold, pearl, blue, dwarf flame, dwarf neon, and even red honey Gouramis!
