                                            Music Service League Dart Throwers!!
Most of you know I am not big on What is the Rule on darts about……. (fill in the blank)
I would like to think that most of us have common sense enough to get through a league night without a lot of drama or arguments, but I guess I am wrong. So here we go, I am keeping it as simple as possible
1st Physical or verbal taunts, actions or anything resembling this will NOT BE TOLERATED! I do not know HOW many times I have to tell players, NO ONE in our league system is making a living by just throwing darts. It shouldn’t be that serious, but I have a few reports on a few teams, I am letting you know now that if it happens again, you will be out of the league! This is supposed to be a fun, social and friendly competition, threatening or verbally insulting other players is not and will not be tolerated!!!
2nd Yes, we have an open sub policy BUT in the leagues that have more than 1 division, or more than 1 league on a specific night, the divisions are there for a reason, to make the matches as level and as competitive as possible. If you do not know if your sub qualifies for the league that you play in or not, get a hold of me, I will let you know, going forward any team bringing in a player with a known higher average than what the specific league calls for, will forfeit every game that they won that night (the team, not just the player), do it twice and you’ll be looking for a bowling league to play on because you won’t be playing darts anymore
3rd League nights are for the specific leagues playing that night, they are not for playing in a remote league or a DRT at the same time. The NDA rule book also has rules specific to this.
“After a match has begun, no practice darts or any darts may be thrown on that or any other dart board in the location” Not only is it against the rules, but it disrupts the normal flow of the league match. Please, going forward, do not let this happen. After your match is over and you have shook hands and said good darts and nice match, then you can get involved in the DRTs or on-line leagues.
I hope I don’t have to add anymore to the list and I seriously hope that I don’t have to act on the ones that are listed.
Good luck! Have fun! And… BE NICE TO ONE ANOTHER!!
