Enrichment is essential for keeping our shelter dogs happy, engaged, and mentally stimulated while they wait for their new homes! We’re also in need of no-pull dog harnesses to help our pups, staff, and volunteers have better, more enjoyable walks.

🫑 Enrichment Supplies – We’re specifically looking for bell peppers and hotdogs to use in enrichment activities for our dogs!

Hammy is more than just a dog—he’s a survivor with a heart full of love💕

From the moment Hammy walked through our doors, he greeted the world with nothing but love. His smile, and his little tail nub wiggling as fast as it could—he lights up any room. Hammy’s love for treats is undeniable, and when you toss him one, he gives you the most adorable chomp face you’ve ever seen 😍

But beneath that happy exterior is a dog who has fought harder than most just to be here.

Hammy arrived in rough shape, his ribs visible, at just 65 pounds. He fought a six-week battle against kennel cough . His already frail body was weak, and his recovery was a slow process. But Hammy never stopped fighting, and thanks to the love and care of our team, he’s now at a healthy 87 pounds!
