Meet Ella😻

Ella is a very affectionate adult domestic short hair brown tabby cat that we estimate to be about 2-3 years old (estimated DOB 5/10/22). Ella was taken in by Sioux Empire TNR Coalition through the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society along with her two kittens. They were too ill with coccidia and ringworm to stay at the shelter but they thrived in foster care and both kittens have since found homes.

Ella would do well with other cats, children and so far she hasn't shown any dislike of dogs. She does have some special needs. She has an immune disorder known as Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex which can lead to itchy, inflamed skin. Her treatment is fairly simple - she needs to eat a hypoallergenic cat food which can be ordered through the clinic or from any online pet supply store like Chewy.com. She may also need an occasional steroid prescription but otherwise she can live a long happy life with the condition and since we have had her on the hypoallergenic food, she has done very well with no flare ups.

We're hoping to find another cat owner who feeds their cat the same diet willing to take on another cat, or someone who isn't put off by very minimal special care requirements. Ella is absolutely worth it - she is the kind of cat who will always make you feel loved and keep you company!

She is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee through Sioux Empire TNR Coalition is $100. Meet Castiel🥰

This adorable little fluffy tabby is the last kitten available from his mom Seraphina's litter. He was born in a foster home on April 26, 2024. Castiel can be shy with strangers but don't let that fool you! Once he knows you he is a cuddly, loving and affectionate young man with the softest fur. He enjoys playing with toys and with other cats and has so far been fine around dogs. He also LOVES to play with water!

Castiel is a domestic medium hair brown tabby. He is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee through Sioux Empire TNR Coalition is $100. Meet Seraphina😍

The lovely Seraphina is a dilute calico domestic shorthair cat with an estimated DOB of 4/18/23. Seraphina has a sweet, loving and gentle disposition and was a wonderful mother to her litter of kittens, born in April 2024. Her kittens are all weaned and finding homes of their own and now it's Seraphina's turn. Due to her gentle and serene nature, she is experiencing some stress while she awaits a new home and wearing the flower on her neck to prevent her from chewing. We are confident in a new home that her stress levels will ease out and she will be an affectionate and constant companion.

Seraphina does not care for dogs and would do best in a home without them, though she might be able to tolerate a quiet dog that respects her personal space. She does well with other cats and with all people.

It’s Groomer Appreciation Day!!! ✂️🎀🐾🐶🫧
Lianna (and Doug 😂) and Amber have been working together for 8+ years! They came to South Central 4 years ago. They have been making animals look dapper and take part in keeping them healthy. Did you know that every Thursday here is Joke Thursday? Whether it is hiding other’s chair or sticking dryer sheets in shoes, there’s always something to laugh about! Thank you for all of your hard work over the years! It’s hard to say whether the owners or the animals appreciate their grooms more. One thing is for sure, we have the best groomers! Happy Groomer Appreciation Day!!!!!
