We are running low on dog food for our Community Pet Food Bank!

The Community Pet Food Bank is designed to provide resources primarily to struggling pet owners. The food bank supplies pet food for individuals facing economic hardship. The food bank helps keep pets in loving homes!

SFAHS Community Pet Food Bank is entirely supported by community donations. Any brand, size, and open bags are accepted for the food bank. Food must be in its original bag. If you are unable to make a drop off, please consider buying it online and shipping to our shelter at 3720 E Benson Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57104!

SFAHS is closed on Thursdays, but donations can still be made in our night receiving area. We open back up on Friday morning at 11 am!

We need YOUR help to serve our community. Donate TODAY!

In the global initiative to create the most positive day in the world, World Compliment Day is celebrated every March 1 to spread joy through simple verbal affirmations of appreciation. With less focus on providing material representations of appreciation, this day is meant to cost absolutely nothing at all, so everyone can participate!
