Dakota Plains Wegies - NFC's is a responsible breeder of the Norwegian Forest Cat. This breed is strongly built and larger than an average domestic breed cat. The breed has a long, sturdy body, long legs and a bushy tail. The coat consists of a long, glossy, thick and water-repellent top layer and a woolly undercoat and is thickest at the legs, chest and head. This is a fairly low-maintenance bree

d, requiring minimal grooming. The Wegie is an interactive, playful, loving member of any responsible household. Variety is the spice of life-and the Norwegian Forest Cat comes in a rainbow of colors for you to choose from. We went with with the NFC because for one it's gorgeous and the most important thing is they are really kind natured big kitties...descendents of Vikings!

We have been so very busy with The Stooges and placements that we have yet to present our Aug. litter. Born 08/30/2023 we have our 2 boys and 1 female. I am big on themes and if you have never seen the flick I highly recommend . We pulled names from the movie, Australia. So with out further adieu…we present Dakota Plains “Australia” kittens.

Dakota Plains has 2 beautiful males from our 07/19/2023 “The 3 Stooges” litter. Larry the red/white male is the most comical. Sweet and gentle temper but eager to play when HE wants!😂We have the most welcoming baby as well…Moe is a black tuxedo male. He is such a gentle boy who enjoys being carried around while he gazes at the ceiling. I think he believes he’s royalty. 🤦🏽‍♀️Curly is BOOKED. He likes to watch his brothers rough house. He’s a sweet blue boy…always up for a good cuddle.
They are all such amazing babies.

Well this is a first for Dakota Plains. We NEVER plan for these types of things however it happened…our Jaina decided she was ready when we definitely were not. We have had a PURFECT track record we sure do try…some things happen when we get too comfortable in our surroundings. Lessons learned for sure for us here at Dakota Plains NFC’s.
While we were cleaning our Arashi Jaina Proudmoore’s queening room, she was able to sneak past us and our Frozenlands new boy “Cooper” is very quick to do his intended deed. Within a blink of a eye a howl and boom. She literally did a hat trick and will take a very long rest this next coming year. So we present to you our Dakota Plains “Hocus Pocus” litter. 4 females and 1 boy.

Will be Mav/Goose’s final week at Dakota Plains and they will be taking to the sky next weekend, to meet their forever family in Washington.😻😻
