MEET SALLY.. . This is little Miss Sally, sadly her owner unexpectedly passed away. A new family stepped in to adopt Sally who is much loved in her new home. She is seen here all tucked in and enjoying her new bed, blanket and squeaky toy provided by Furry Friends. Furry Friends will continue to support Sally with dog food and treats as long as needed. Waylon is really enjoying his new Nylabone chew in front of the warm fire. Furry Friends recently received a generous donation of bones and chews from Nylabone for our Spirit of Giving drive. The drive is in partnership with the Sisters Fire Department & Sisters Kiwanis to aid local families in need, including their 4-legged family members. Thank you Nylabone for helping to make the holidays special for our local furry friends. Waylon and we so appreciate the support from great companies like yours. Thank you again.

Look who surprised Furry Friends Foundation. We couldn’t be more honored to receive this generous $2,000 donation from Three Sisters Lion’s Club! Presented by Roxanne Trask and Michele Hammer at their annual Holiday Faire. Funds will be used to purchase pet food for many families in financial difficulty this holiday season. A portion of the funds will also be used for spay & neuter sponsorships. Please support Three Sisters Lion’s Club by shopping this holiday at the Faire open through December 21st. Choose from a huge array of lovely handmade gifts. The Holiday Faire is open Monday - Friday, 10 to 5, Saturday 10 to 6 and Sunday 10 to 4. The Holiday Faire is located at 141 W. Now through Dec 2nd, BottleDrop is MATCHING up to 20% for all cans/bottles donated to Furry Friends Foundation.
1. Grab a blue Bottle Drop bag with our QR code sticker pre-attached from our bottle drop location on The Nugget’s front porch (right side).
2. Fill the bags with RETURABLE cans and bottles. Must have OR 10¢ symbol, not the recyclables like wine bottles.
3. Take to your nearest bottle drop location. (Ray’s Food Place in Sisters or at The Nugget’s blue bins located on their right porch).
That’s it! You’ve just helped raise money for Furry Friends Foundation and many paw-some thanks.

Low cost vaccines and microchips available November 16th from 9am-12pm at FIXbend. DAPP/FVRCP always free, most other vaccines $25. Microchips $35, flea/tick/heartworm prevention $15. Make sure your pet stays happy, healthy and safe this holiday season. And don't forget, if you find a lost pet please use one of our microchip reader stations in Bend, Madras or La Pine to help reunite families. More info at FIXbend.org.

Look at these colorful dog coats hand-made by Valerie Fercho-Tillery. Valerie sews all winter and has delivered 40 dogs coats to us every year since 2017. This year there were cozy cat beds too. Furry Friends partners with Sisters Kiwanis (people food) and Sisters Fire Department (kids toys & gifts) during the holidays for the Spirit of Giving Campaign. This donation makes a wonderful addition to the pet food, treats and toys we give out. THANK YOU Valerie!

Wishing all two-legged and four-legged friends a very Happy New Year! Because of you the pet food bank was ready for our big holiday distribution. Thank you to for your support and encouragement throughout the year! I am so grateful to all the volunteers this year that made what we do possible. Pet food bank volunteers: Sandy, Judy, Kelly, Jeannie, Amy, Michele, Marcy and Gloria. Thank you to our dedicated bottle and can processing crew: Gary, Traci, Totsy, Lena, Chris, TK, Sandra and Judy. Big thank yous to our partners including Bend Pet Express, Sisters Feed & Supply, Nylabone and Ray’s Food Place. To our grant awards from the Three Sisters Lion’s Club, Roundhouse Foundation, City of Sisters and the Autzen Foundation. To our spay / neuter partner, the Rawley Project’s FixBend program.
