Hi there! I’m Apollo! A 4 month old St Bernard mix. And yes, I’m gonna be a big boy! I’m already 48 lbs of fun 🤩

I’m a fluffy ball of love with the softest black fur you’ve ever pet and the floppiest ears that bounce when I run (which is a lot😂). I love zooming back and forth just for the fun of it-because, well, I’m a puppy, and that’s what we do! My absolute favorite thing (besides cuddles) is playing with plushies. I carry them around like little treasures, shake them, and sometimes even nap with them-because even a playful pup needs his beauty rest! 😍

I may be full of energy, but I do have some manners-I’ll sit like a perfect gentleman for treats.

👉🏼👉🏼And yes, most are large, black, black/white, or ‘pitbull type’ because the other dogs come and go much faster with the exception of Loki. He meets none of the criteria except behavioral, because he is shy. Shy dogs (and cats) are also waiting the longest.

Just 3 years old. Great with other cats and kittens. Virgil waited so long because he is FIV+ 😢

ℹ️ We are still working to undo the stigma of this condition:

FIV is NOT:

-a death sentence
-contagious to humans or other animals other than cats
-transmitted through grooming, sharing food/water, litterboxes, etc

FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds from an infected cat to an uninfected cat. They CAN live with other cats that coexist peacefully.

Adopt an FIV+ cat and give them the second chance they deserve ❤️ We know Virgil has superpowers and his adopters are his Hero 🥰

GREAT in every way! ❤️

Loki is Low-Key! Loves being with us and chilling on the couch. Meets new people with hesitation, no pulling or jumping. Have not heard him bark yet. Loves to walk but mostly wants belly rubs. We love him!

Yet this boy has been in the shelter for > 1 year!!!

Loki is housetrained, quiet, sweet and just 55 lbs. He’s almost 3 years old with his whole life ahead of him.
