Our Story
We are a premier specialty animal hospital focused on the care and well being of pet exotic animals. We are a full service hospital offering exceptional and timely medical care, specialized surgical services, house calls, USDA exhibitor inspections, vaccinations for various species, grooming, ferret lymphoma chemotherapy, therapeutic laser treatment, chiropractics, and acupuncture. We are happy to work with USDA exhibitor permit holders. Contact us for more information. Our highly trained staff work exclusively with pet exotic animals. At this time we cannot accommodate venomous snakes or Old World primates. Please, contact us with any questions! We proudly work with a number of not for profit rescues including Friends of Scales Reptile Rescue, Red Door Animal Shelter, the Greater Chicago Ferret Association, and MANY more! Our veterinarians serve as Medical Directors for Friends of Scales, Red Door Animal Shelter, and HAPPE Parrots. Our veterinary staff include: Dr. Susan Horton
