UPDATE: Here at Setters’ Notch we have a pup that is now up for discussion. From our Last Call litter, this is Gin. He is a gorgeous male from Harley x Wolfie. He was whelped on August 13th and he is located in Skowhegan, Maine.

It is time for some formal introductions of our final litter which we have dubbed The Last Call. In order of the individual pictures below, we have Whiskey, Gin, Guinness, Chardonnay, Tito, Bourbon, Jaeger, and Captain.

The pups are now 16 days old and they are thriving! Will post the pedigrees of the dam and sire in the comments. Both parents are DNA Certified Llewellin Setters and both have OFA Certified GOOD hips. This litter will be registered in the Field Dog Stud Book. Both parents are excellent hunters.

Good morning from The Notch! We have some very exciting news to share. Our Harley X Wolfie litter is on the ground and everyone is doing great! This combination is back by popular demand and has produced some fantastic dogs. There are 7 males and 1 female and the pups will be a week old tomorrow. This is the 3rd pairing of this dam and sire.

Our kennel has produced 6 healthy litters in the last five years. With our lives entering a new stage, we have decided to retire our females and close our breeding program. Wolfie will still be available as a stud for hire, but our females will solely be focused on being great bird dogs and pets.

So, we have aptly named this litter, “Last Call” and each pup will be named after one of our favorite beverages. So stay tuned for “Pupdates” and pictures.
