February is Dental Health Month!
Don't turn your nose to your pets bad breath! That odor could indicate a serious health risk with the possibility to not only damage your pets teeth and gums but their internal organs as well.
To celebrate national dental month we will be offering a $20 discount on all dentals scheduled for the month of February! Please call 507-836-8594 for scheduling and any additional questions.
Basic Dental Includes:
Pre surgical blood panel
1 Anesthesia block
Full mouth dental x-rays
Ultrasonic scaling and fluoride polishing
*Additional needs such as extractions, antibiotics and pain relievers are not included in base price.

Dear valued clients-
Next week both Dr. Reith and Dr. Sorensen will be gone from Monday January 22nd at 3pm through Wednesday January 24th. They will be attending a continuing education course out of state. The clinic will be adjusting its hours and staff during this time. On Monday, the 22nd we will be closing at 5pm. On Tuesday, the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th we will be open with support staff only.
All emergent calls during both business hours and after hours will need to call elsewhere.
Large animal- Please call Dr. Marie Buschulte at Brockway Brown Vet Clinic in Tracy, MN.
Small animal emergency- any surrounding vet clinic but you may be referred to Sioux falls (All city pet care).
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will be closing slightly early tonight due to the weather and attempting to get all of our staff home before the wind picks up. Drive safe, we hope you are all enjoying our first real snowfall :)

As we prepare to close out 2023 and ring in the new year we wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you to all of our clients.
We did manage to sneak in a little extra time to write a newsletter that highlights our staff members, hours and upcoming events for 2024.

Today was one of those days where we look back at the end of the day and think ”How did we do all that in one day??”
Not only do all our amazing staff members play a huge roll but our wonderful clients as well. We know the schedule gets rearranged sometimes, the wait time is a little longer and the lobby is crowded but your patience and understanding means the world.
We are so grateful for all of you.

Patient of the Week: Trinity!! Trinity came in for her annual exam and vaccinations and made sure to wave at everyone she saw 😍
Horses and stress is a recipe for disaster. Between their feet and their tummy, something always seems to go wrong. Luckily there are a few things we can do to try to support animals we know will undergo stress. Dealing with equine Gastric ulcers can be challenging, but treating them doesn’t have to be. Rely on the evidence, and ask your veterinarian for Gastrogard® (omeprazole). The only product approved to safely and effectively treat gastric ulcers in horses.
