I received a wonderful text today from my niece Candace!

Hey, you would have gotten a kick out of Grant, my youngest, this morning. It's his turn for show and tell tomorrow so we were talking about what he is going to bring. The first answer is monster trucks, of course. But I asked him that other kids probably have monster trucks too is there something else he would like to bring that other kids probably don't have. Without hesitation, "I wanna bring Uncle Zoo Man and his snakes. Ms. Terry doesn't like snakes. It would be so fun." So long story short. We ended up agreeing on taking a picture of you ( The Zoo Man)and Grant with whisper to school tomorrow…
I love his little guy!!!

The past few days one huge black bear has been spotted in the area. When he stood up on his hind legs, reports say he was over 6 feet tall. A few pictures were taken of this huge black bear. Onlookers that spotted him said he had to weigh 650 pounds. One other black bear was also spotted running through the city of Waubun, but was smaller! The video is from an abandoned dairy barn. Very creepy after dark. I was going to go for an early Saturday morning run/walk. But with bears in the area I will not be out early.
