This photo represents chickens in these conditions have tremendous consequences including lameness, skeletal disorders, and painful skin lesions. Yet, they are still standard operating procedures for companies that control how most farm animals are raised and slaughtered. There are so many of them in one confined space that they aren’t living the way they should be.
