When you are rolling to a beagle trial with dogs in the box and you see a place named "The Red Rabbit" you gotta stop....this place had car hops and an old diner feel....with amazing food and BBQ....a definite "we'll be back" plus the dogs were a hit with the car hops and the little girl in the car next to us who just had to get their pets in.

Congratulations to Caleb - the "Hunter" half of Hunter Thomas Kennels on harvesting his first rabbit yesterday off his own dog - Hunter Thomas Lagomorph Nightmare who was out of our Gabby×Copper litter. It was the perfect afternoon hunt taking in one of Western Pa's beautiful state gamelands.

On top of trialing this weekend - we met up with Tippy Willis in Massachussets to deliver one of our girl puppies "More Power" to her new home. She will now be called Tippy's Pine Haven Fastline Hound Dog Hope!!!

We look forward to hearing big things from this little girl.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our dogs go to great homes. Lil Heidi ( Female #1) is now going to be Hattie and will be remaining close by so we will have a chance to watch her grow and develop into a fine hunting dog.

Equipment maintenance day today....new antennas and reprogramming of handheld. If you want it to work - you have to work on it.

We've run the Garmin Alpha 100 for a quite a while now. We've had collars flung off tailgates and into ditches while driving and left into elements for 3 days, been all over the northeast, and never had an issue or problem.

We highly recommend this system to anyone looking at a tracking system for their hunting dog.

We have a new pup here at Hunter Thomas Kennels. Easton bred his Hunter Thomas Marshall dog this spring and picked this beautiful pup from the litter to join our pack.
