Very last project of 2025 is COMPLETE 💥 This next year will be year of growth, expanding opportunities and finally feeling settled in to our “new” barn… so incredibly grateful to the riders, students, trainers, boarders and staff members who have supported and stuck with me through this process…. A very special thank you to the McCoy family for their unwavering dedication to this barn and doing everything from RV repair to dog sitting to bookeeping to lots of manual labor to help me make this place what it has become 🙏🏼 Our horses are so lucky to have this beautiful, functional and whole-horse centric lifestyle! Thank you ALL and here’s to a fantastic start to 2026, the year that will truly be “for the horse” 🐴

Anything worth doing is worth doing well… So please remember when you hang a rope halter always use the knot at the base slipped through the loop to hang from the crown piece and neatly hang the rope over the top… This is both tidy, but also safe as you can quickly grab this halter and have it ready to go in case of an emergency! Sooooo excited about our new lights!! 💡 We are already enjoying brighter aisles and stalls! Thank you to everyone supporting this big upgrade by letting us close down for a couple of days- we appreciate your patience ✨

So excited that ALL of our interior barn lights will now be upgraded LEDs 💡 More energy efficient, brighter and longer lasting! Please note in order to install them properly and safely our barn will be closed from Saturday at 6pm until Monday at 10pm. The horses will receive normal care, turn out, walker and treadmill sessions, but we need to keep extra people out of the way of our wonderful electrician. Many thanks to everyone for your understanding and cheers to ending the year merry and BRIGHT ✨

So excited to announce that has purchased a new equine solarium 💡 This model has 12 infrared bulbs that wrap around the sides of the horse for a whole-body experience to improve relaxation, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation and warm up the horse’s bodies before rides, body work or as a relaxing sauna experience after a ride! Oasis will be offering this service as an add on to your horses already scheduled body work or as an option to purchase time for horses not in the Oasis program but living at Silver Spur! We are so excited to have such a wonderful tool for the cold and dreary winter months ahead!

Know your safety protocol for blankets! Tis the season for cold nights and chilly days… if your horse has clips on their blanket please take care to ensure ALL clips face toward the horse and not out where they can get caught on things around them!
