OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

To create a fenced in, off leash dog park where well behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering people, property, other dog or wildlife. To maintain a respectful, enlightened co-existence with other park users through the proper supervision and appropriate conduct of dogs off leash. To view the park as a community project in partn

ership with the Town of Bethel that is designed tp satisfy the needs of dog owners and non dog owners alike through the promotion of education, training and recreational activities that facilitate responsible dog ownership and encourage community/member involvement. The Town of Bethel Dog Park is managed by a committee of volunteers. Committee members are: Daniel Sturm, Allen Wakstein, Denise Connolly, Carolyn Akt, Sammy Killilea, Bette Popovich, Jessica Leonard, Jinni Reeves, Lillian Hendrickson, Kevin Gill, Patrick Feeney, and Christine Record.

Just received this message about a cell phone left at the Dog Park yesterday. "cell phone found at park 230 today, (yesterday)Friday, left on big split pine tree near Big Dog entrance".

Check out the new signage at the comfort station in the Forest Reserve in Smallwood. ( near the Dog Park). Open to all residents!

I always love checking out the Town of Bethel Dog Park after the first mowing of the year. It's drying up beautifully, and I suggest you bring your dogs and come check it out! Reminder, it is open to all residents although it is located at the Forest Reserve property in Smallwood.

Town of Bethel Dog Park will be dedicating a bench in memory of Denise Sarett Connolly on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2 p.m. located at 50 Golf Park Road, Smallwood, NY 12778. Hosted by the Town of Bethel. All are welcome.
