Monkey decided she was not staying in the warming box while I changed the bedding in the whelping box. She is the smallest and the litter is just 3.5 weeks old.

I name the puppies for their spots. Can you see the monkey on her side? She is a hoot!

They won't be 2 weeks until tomorrow but their eyes have been open about 4 days. They are doing their best to walk. So far such sn enjoyable litter

DAISY is 14 today and still full of tricks. About 2 weeks ago she went upstairs, opened my closet door, got into my show bag and ate half a bag of treats I use in the show ring!. I think I forgot to post about Boot's win at the Butler Show this Fall. He acted up in the ring-sat for the judge! Basically being his rotten self. When he won the others had to tell me he won. I was in shock. He is a pistol but none sweeter!

Meet Moose, Leaping Dog's Early Warning a Daisy (GCHB CH Fireside's Daisy Does It All SH NA I) and Jack (GCH CH Shot of Jack ) puppy who is 7 and just did his FIRST AKC Junior Hunter test.

Moose lived the first 6 years with a wonderful family in Annapolis MD. He did a lot of obedience, agility and other performance training but never hunted.

Last year his mom moved to the Middle East to help start a university backed by Vanderbilt University. She brought Moose back to me since he could not go with her.

There was a wonderful young couple who lived not far from us who had one of my Rescue dogs when they lived in SC. They were the perfect match for Moose!

They invested in hunt training for Moose, and today he ran a Junior Hunter test in Rimersburg PA. This Fall you can find him hunting pheasants in the PA gamelands!

YAY MOOSE. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!

We were in the ribbons this weekend at the 5 days of dog shows in New Castle PA.

Issy (Leaping Dog's You Make Me Dissy Miss Issy NA I JH) got 2 majors toward her championship which I had never even dreamed could happen.

Boot (Leaping Dog's Boot Scootin' Boogie NA II JH) got his Championship pending AKC approval.

We have been doing some pheasant hunting in between holidays. Here is Duck who we plan on breeding in the next 2 weeks. We took Issy Duck's 18 month old puppy from her 1st litter with us.
