This elderly girl obviously used to have a home. She's full of love and asking super hard for help. I'm going to try to figure out how to contain her away from my animals to quarantine and get her vetted. I'd like to find her a home before the really cold months come. If you're able to donate anything towards her vet bill to help her please do. She has some old wounds that need tended to and she needs a flea dip. She's such a sweety and she's literally risking her life to come to me for help beings my dogs see her as a trespasser on our property. She's been here for about 2 weeks. I've contacted the shelter and posted her everywhere I can think of. Once she's contained I'll see if she happens to be chipped or not. She was obviously someone's love bug.

This morning we added to our family. This little guy is 5 years old and was at the VA Beach Animal Center. He is a little dehydrated and discolored from stress from the environment. No one likes to be in a shelter on Christmas. My son has been wanting one for companionship for some time now and he is already in love. Our tiny dragon is comfy in his new home and is currently sleeping hard after a long day.

Update on Foster Fail Alex. He is literally a teddy bear and is majority spoiled. These 2 together are a riot!! (My daughter is sick and he's been her snuggle bear)

Alex's adoption has fallen through but that's okay. We have decided he is a failed foster!!! His personality, character, and love will just make our home feel less full. This was a very special litter that was saved and each one of them have been unique and very special. I'm happy "to be stuck" with one of them. Since I was a kid I can honestly say I've had 100s of cats between my grandmother and my mother and I have never experienced this much awesome in any of of them. He is absolutely 1 of a kind.

Aaron has been adopted!!! He is making himself right at home. I will not be taking in any more rescues for some time. With the lack of donations I can not keep saving lives. His initial treatments and neutering has come out of my pocket and I can't keep doing it at my expense. I will create a fundraiser soon to start an account for future rescues and I will only be able to take in what I have funding for. I have no regrets saving his life. He has blessed my home and my life with his amazing personality and qualities. Now he gets to bless his adopters life. Thank you all who have donated and shown support for the cause. Your help definitely elevated some stress.

We were away for a long weekend so this guys catching up on his snuggles. Please don't forget to donate if you can. Even just a few dollars adds up and eases financial tension. Vet bills are expensive but their lives are worth it.

Yesterday they got snipped!!! 1 step closer to adoption ready!! 1 more vet trip to go and then they go off to their furever homes. ❤️ Spaying and neutering your pets and strays is so important. These little guys were rescued because their mother was a stray. She sought shelter in someone's basement and they became infested with internal parasites. We thought they were 100% gone until yesterday. Feeding strays outside seems like a good thing to do but trapping them to snip and vaccinate to release back is even better. Let's help reduce our stray population that has consumed our shelters and rescues.

Tomorrow the boys go to be snipped and both are pending adoption!!!! Im going to be so sad when they go and miss them so much but I'm excited for their new families to fall in love with them!!

Both of the boys are sleeping. I just love their sweetness. Cats have a bad rep for being assh*les but these boys have zero malace in them. Both are butterballs of love. Aaron is pending adoption. Alex has some interest in him but nothing 100% yet. Sending these guys off to the rest of their lives is an honor.

I have extra littles tonight as everyone wanted to come stay before school starts and I've learned just how patient and loving Alex is. He is snuggled down under the blanket and willing to go wherever Amelia carries him off to. Fostering is so much fun but as he gets older I really fear him getting adopted. I can not keep these kittens. My home is tiny and I have so much responsibility as it is. I'm so happy to of saved their lives and given them a safe place to thrive and learn how to be house cats. I'm really hoping and needing someone to see these babies and want to take them home with them. I love to foster....but with such little interest in these babies I'm getting very worried for them. I know shelters are full and this kitten season was a wild one....but someone out there has to want these amazing babies. They are the most perfect house kitties with the most amazing dispositions and personalities.
