Happy Tails Pet Sitting is doing a great thing for local rescue. JCAPL has been nominated, and now we need votes! Click on the picture, and you should be able to vote by comment. We appreciate the opportunity and the nomination!

***We will tally up the nominations Thursday night and announce the rescues for this year Friday! If both top rescues are dog rescues I will be selecting a third rescue to support our kitties too!!***

We have a special treat in store this Christmas and we need a little help! Happy Tails will be collecting donations for two local animal rescues to help pets in need this holiday season! Our pets are so blessed but unfortunately that is not the case for many who are waiting for their furever homes so we want to do what we can help!

First we need to select two rescues. Please nominate your favorite rescue in the comments. Once we have two rescues selected we will get a wish list from each rescue of items they are in need of. Donations can be dropped off at my home, I will have a large drop box on the porch, or we can pick up donations when we are doing visits for your pets during the months of November and December.

Thank you all for supporting our small business and helping us bring a little Christmas cheer to pets in need this year!

If you feel safe approaching the pet and it is wearing a collar with ID tags, check for information about the owner and let them know you found their lost pet.

Please spread the word so we can find this pet's family! FOUND on October 15, 2017 in Benson, NC 27504 near Near W Lambert Dr & N Wall St

Description: Forty lb. black and tan female, shepherd/rotti mix. No microchip. Appears to be 110 months to a year old Was found in the middle of the road 2-3 months ago - just turned in to rescue.

It's been a year since we adopted Joplin, (formerly Rosie), from JCAPL. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and is living a great life! We're very thankful for the work that you do.

JCAPL is honored to receive a grant from the Johnston County Unrestricted Endowment Fund, a component fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation (www.nccommunityfoundation.org). This grant helps fund our spay/neuter assistance program. This is the third grant we have received from NCCF for this program, and we have had ever better success with spay/neuter for pets in our community.
