We had a great time capping off the year at VHSA Associate Finals π though some are missing from photos, everyone rode well and enjoyed participating in the tack stall decorating contest π», trick or treating π, and the beautiful weather all week.
π¦ Andromeda won both trips of the Green Hunters to earn π π₯ and was great with Michaela in the 2'6 Children's
π¦ Kelly Kiser and Ledinjadon Dreamcatcher earned the top honor in the Sm/Med Ponies, as well as Reserve Champion in the VPBA π Kelly also had the ride on Mallory Francis's Smallwood Abracadabra, earning multiple ribbons in the Large Ponies, Pony Pleasure, and won their 14&U Eq Flat section
π¦ Hollywood π¬ earned great ribbons in the Green Hunters as well as with Sydney in the 2'6 Adults. It was great to have Sydney visit for the weekend from her busy college life at Lynchburg!
π¦ Caroline Polson and Hooligan's Circus got great experience in the 2' Special Hunters, including π₯the 2' Equitation Flat, and were π₯in their section of the 14&U Eq Flat
π¦ Foxtail Farm's Vintage and Sara Padilla had good experience in the 2'6 Special Hunters at their third away show together
π¦ West Palm and Rynni Ayers had good trips in the Working Hunters and a top finish in the under saddle, after Rynni spoke on her fondness of the Virginia Horse Center Foundation during the the Spirit of Virginia Award presentation π
π¦ Lelia Torresin and Her Highness were Reserve Champion of 10-12yo Short Stirrup! Lelia has learned so much from queen Bailey and is excited to apply those skills to her new partner - stay tuned! β¨οΈ
π¦ Addison McCall and Overzealous joined us away overnight for the first time, finishing with top results in the Large Green Ponies
π¦ Reese Mazur and Zinnia, owned by Foxtail Farm, joined for their first time away overnight as well and had a fun experience learning about overnight horse showing
π¦ WCWC, LLCs young horse Henrico was excellent for his first time indoors ever, receiving top ribbons in the Green Hunters over fences and under saddle. Contact us if you are looking for a top Jr/AO prospect π
