My name is Susan and I would like to thank you for stopping by to see what Pampered Paws is all about. I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 of the best kiddos, a home school mom, a somewhat retired nurse (at the moment), an over-the-top pet lover, and a child of God. I am married to an amazing fireman and we live in the heart of Smiths Station! Pampered Paws was prayed over and is nothing but an answered

prayer. This little business has been such a blessing to my heart and my family. It all began when we sat for a friend's pup, who needed someone they could trust in their home. I didn't realize there was such a need for trusted pet sitters until I started talking to all of my animal-loving friends. Pet sitting in your home- We offer overnight pet sitting in the comfort of your home and daily drop-in visits. Your pet's routine will not have to be interrupted while you are away. That means if your baby sleeps with you then your baby will sleep with us! We will provide outside play time, plenty of snuggles, and daily updates. A meet and greet will be required prior to booking. Unfortunately, I have had to turn clients down due to not feeling safe in their home whether it be the area or condition of the home. If this is an issue I will let you know immediately. Limited boarding in our home- Here is what we mean by limited: we do have pets of our own so we are not only limited in the number of animals we can board, but the size of your pet as well. Small-to-medium breeds are no problem. Larger breeds can be discussed on a case-to-case basis. We can offer short or long-term boarding. We have a nice-sized fenced-in backyard for your babies to safely go out to play and potty. They will spend their time in our home, on our laps, and more than likely in our beds (if their parents allow it). They will become a part of our family during their stay with us. You will receive daily updates and pictures (probably too many to be honest). If you need in-home boarding, all pets must be friendly with other animals. We have chickens as well but they are in a separate area and can be secured in a pen. No dogs with aggressive tendencies will be allowed. They must also be up to date on their rabies vaccine and be flea/tick free. We also have experience caring for horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, fish, and cats. Upon request, we can check your mail, water your plants, and take out your trash. Just let us know! Rates start at $30 per day for boarding and $20 for drop in visits. To all valued clients, please be advised of the following important announcement: As of January 1, I will be significantly reducing my client capacity. Each new request will be carefully evaluated and considered. My services will remain the same, but overnight stays will be limited. Additionally, my rates will be adjusted, starting at a base rate of $50, which will increase based on the number of pets requiring care. Drop-ins will start at $30. This rate change will be applied to all future bookings. I regret any inconvenience this may cause and will personally contact all clients with existing bookings for next year at the start of the year to review the rate increase and provide ample time to seek alternative options if necessary. One of our church ministry teams, SOAR, went out into our local community today to serve others. I headed up a small group that went to an animal shelter in Phenix City, East Alabama Humane Society.

We took donations from their wish list and were able to help give medicated baths to the puppies with skin conditions, we walked some of the adult dogs, put together some peanut butter dog bones and became acquainted with the sweet staff.

East Alabama Humane Society is an amazing, small little shelter right in our community. I will attach their wishlist and some pics of their babies that are either ready for their new home or in the process of getting ready. Please consider donating what you can. They also have a thrift store and all of the proceeds go to the shelter. So, if you can’t give monetarily you can take your yard sale items to them! AND they love volunteers!

Y’all meet my new fur-client, Richard. He’s as cute as a button. He passed out in my arms during Friday night worship. Listening to praise and worship def helped him to relax. 💙
Oh, and that’s my son btw, Landon, worshiping Jesus along with our friend Jasmine at Harvest Coffee in Cols. 💙🙌
I had to come back and add that Brandon and the kids are taking care of Oscar at home. Oscar has stayed with us before and he is a complete gentleman. He has only gotten in trouble for smelling the girls 10 times.😂
