Our sweet Cranberry is purrfection. (Volume up to hear her chirps.) This lady is about 8 years young and a social butterfly. She seeks attention from every human and lives harmoniously with other cats. Cranberry does have hyperthyroidism, so she needs her daily medication and regular vet visits. This lady will make any home much happier!

Sending a little Mia goofiness your way on a dreary (but thankfully warmer) day!
This lady has some stranger danger issues to work through, once you do, she is a perfect mix of playful and cuddle bug. She self entertains like nobody’s business and loves her people fiercely. Our poor girl will be here 5 years in March. It’s high time for her happily ever after!

Our friends at Save The Animals Rescue (STAR) Foundation helped us out by taking on 11 adorable Sugar Gliders. If you are interested in adopting:
FIRST- Do. Your. Research. They are not pets you just leave in a cage and forget about, they are nocturnal, they are not suitable for small children and are not single pets; they are social.
SECOND- go to their website and fill out an application- they have to be fully evaluated and won’t be available for adoption until they are

**Meet WALL-E**
This hunk is just about 2 years old and uber affectionate. Just look at how proudly he poses for photo ops. And, seriously, who doesn’t love a ginger??? He has some scars and FIV from a rough life on the streets; that just makes him more purrfect to us. Will you be the hero that gives him the pampered life of luxury from here on out?

Is there a cuter duo than Goldie and Kate?
This mother/daughter bonded pair brings the love everywhere they go. Both are FIV+ and Goldie is diabetic. FIV doesn’t affect their lives and diabetics just need meds twice a day and vet visits every 6 months, that’s nothing compared to the joy you’ll get seeing this every day! We know the right home is out there for them!

Meet Riley!
This stunning shepherd mix is around 3-4 years young. She is highly intelligent and well trained. Poor Riley did not have a great start in her early years creating a lot of distrust for men. She bonds hard once she feels comfortable with someone and will show you all of her love all day! We are looking for the perfect home that will understand her needs and make her feel safe and cherished. She will reward those efforts with tons of love.

Fall in Love With a Shelter Dog or Cat

Dogs and cats that are taken into the care of shelters each year find themselves homeless through no fault of their own; “moving” and “landlord issues” are the top reasons people give up their pets.

When we rescue a surrendered or stray animal, they are immediately given medical evaluations. (If we are fortunate enough to have a medical history.we will pass it onto the new owner.) Our shelter staff will work with each potential pet owner to identify the perfect dog or cat that’s just right for your household. We will even bring your potential new family member to your home to see how he or she does with other pets and in your environment.

Our Shelter is full of loving, spayed/neutered, vaccinated—and often trained—pets who are just waiting to meet you! When you adopt a cat or dog from a shelter or a rescue group, you can rest assured that you have not supported the cruel and exploitative puppy mill industry.

NOTE: If you are thinking of meeting your next family member… Please give yourself at least one hour to visit the shelter, view the animals, and acquaint yourself with pets that are available for adoption. If you do not find what you are looking for, you can ask to be added to our wish list, which is maintained at the front desk.
