🐾 Adopt Mel 🐾 One of our clients is fostering Mel through Paws Angels Dog Rescue & he is ready to find his furever couch! Mel would do best in a calmer household with a calmer fur sibling or just as an only dog. He does fine here at Koda’s so he would be welcome by us anytime! Like all rescues, he has some quirks he's working out. But he truly will make a great companion! Message us for more information on Mel and or stop by Koda’s for an application!

We hope everyone had a great 4th Of July! We will be back open tomorrow ❤️🐾 Miss Jenny has her phone close by if you should need her. But PLEASE keep all our KP fam safe tonight and through the weekend! Please call/go straight to Animal Medical Center or VEG if you have any canine emergencies! Both will be packed but are 24/7. Have a great holiday weekend! 🇺🇲

Its no secret, Miss Jenny likes dogs more than people 🤣 At Koda’s we do things a little different. We separate dogs by temperament, rather than throwing them all into a large group expecting them to enjoy themselves. Can you imagine having to mingle amoungest people you dont like? People who give you anxiety? No thank you! But when one of our furry clients is struggling to find their flow and their friend group, we recommend calling Wag It Better! Their positive reinforcement only methods help us at Koda’s and you, help your dog find their way! So if daycare and socialization is super important to you, let Wag It Better help! They are extremely knowledgeable and affordable. Miss Jenny even uses them for her personal dog! We all want our dogs to be the most confident best versions of themselves. So we see therapists and doggos see trainers! 🐾

Kicking off the 4th Of July Weekend with a Pool Pawty! 🩵💦☀️ We might not have a fancy pool like some but boy do we love these fur babies. We love seeing them happy. It’s so important to us that each of them have fun. And it brings us so much joy when they pull you up to our door every morning. Our front is our back and our back is our front. We know every single pup by name, what they like, what they don’t, and everything in between. And isnt that how it should be? It’s why we opened Koda’s. To give a home away from home to these little guys. What a privilege to be able to do this everyday. Have a safe holiday weekend all! 🐾❤️💙

4th Of July Themed Pool Pawty Tomorrow! 🎆🏝🐾 Bring those pups in for our fun $12 enrichment activity tomorrow. We will send them home worn out & ready for snuggles before those dreaded fireworks. Please arrive by 10:30 to participate! (As a reminder - Koda’s will be a madhouse tomorrow 🤣 So if you have a calmer pup, maybe let them be a couch potato tomorrow. AND -- WE WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC JULY 4TH!)

🐾🇺🇲 Holiday/Holiday Week Reminders 🇺🇲🐾

🩵 We will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC on The 4th Of July! Staff will be on site throughout the day on their own schedule to take care of our overnight guests. We do not allow for any pick ups or drop offs on holidays.
❤️ We will be incredibly busy from now through the rest of summer. We will do our best to take photos but our 1st priority is always those fur babies. So if photos are super important to you, please ask how you can sign up for a daily photo package!
🩵 Please use patience with staff when picking up and dropping off. It is like a mind field making our way through the sea of wagging tails 🤣📲 It may take us a little longer to answer the door. Don't worry, we see you, Chico is letting us know he sees you, we will answer!
❤️ Please have those emergency contacts ready for all boarding reservations. They are still required. Also bring in all updated vaccines. Without those we cannot allow your doggo into our facility.
🩵 If your dog has firework anxiety, we will administer medications if you provide them! Please contact your vets soon or they will be unable to fill them by the holiday! DogTV is a huge anxiety reliever for our pups but fireworks can be scary. So we will work with you on whatever they need.
❤️ Please remember, no news is good news. Our phones will ringing off the hook and we are a very hands on facility. So understand, if you're calling us daily for updates, so are 20 others. We promise we are loving on your pups and they are going to have a good time! We will do our best to call back/respond within reason.
🩵 Daycare will be PACKED this coming week. Please use your best judgment for what's best for your dog. If they prefer our slower quieter days, this week won't be their jam! But for those crazies, see you bright and early!
❤️ As always, please keep those doggies we love not staying with us safe! The weather is hot and holidays can be stressful. If you have any emergencies please go to Animal Medical Center or VEG! And as always Miss Jenny is available 24/7 if you need her input!
