GIVE BACK SUNDAY 🐾

Coastal Carolina is facing a major cat population crisis, with feral colonies growing and friendly cats being abandoned. We’re working hard to change that by getting these cats fixed and finding them loving homes. But we can’t do it alone.

Some of the cats we take in need more than just routine care, and adoption fees alone don’t cover the costs. That’s why we rely on the support and generosity of our community to continue this important work.

Let’s make this Supportive Sunday a day of action—every donation brings us closer to giving these cats the second chance they deserve.

We need to find a furever home for Kizzie. She’s our girl that recently lost one of her back legs. She has NO special needs at all except lots of love. Since her accident, she’s been inside our home with my other cats. She’s a typical calico girl so the attitude comes naturally. She’s very sweet, especially with women. She will make biscuits on you until she falls asleep. She’s a great companion but she doesn’t get along with my male cats. They intimidate her so she growls at them. That upsets them so they attack her. This situation is not fair to her or my cats. If you have no other cats or maybe one or two females, you woul be a great candidate. Please consider adopting her. She needs a safe space.

We would like to thank everyone for their help with our efforts to save Sebastian. Sadly we had to make the tough decision to end his suffering last night. We did get him in for his procedure but the outcome was not what we hoped it would be. We had many ups and downs along the way. Fly high sweet boy. 🪽

We’ve faced challenges getting Sebastian seen for an issue in his re**al area (visible on x-ray) due to the limited veterinary specialty options in our area. Our foster is having to drive him to Raleigh today for care. We’re anticipating a very large bill, likely in the thousands, and potentially surgery. Our very sweet beautiful Gracie found her forever home in Raleigh today. She came to us in terrible shape. Flea dermatitis so bad it’s a wonder she wasn’t anemic as well. We’ve worked with her since September to heal her. Her new family will take very good care of her and make sure she has the love and care she deserves. Intake pictures are included so her progress can be seen. I’ll miss you sweetie.
