Hey Rafter19 Friends! This is Cowboy Chris’ younger sister Sally and I’ve gotta share a secret with you - Chris’ horses are not only sweet, friendly and personable, they also make magical horse compost! Lots of love going into that 🐴 💩! I’m headed up to the farm again tomorrow with a couple garbage cans to get more of that magic for my garden!

How about you? Looking for some magical power compost for your garden? $25 for a garbage can full (32 gallon can holds almost 5 cubic feet) - or two half garbage cans so it’s easier pull/carry/move.

My rosebed is going to be so happy!!! Thanks for the magical compost, Cowboy Chris!

Remember back when days were lighter later, going out without a coat was no problem, and horse trails weren’t so muddy? Yeah...but those days will be back! Lots of fun to be had in the arena as well!!!

Something spooky was happening recently at Rafter 19 Stables! "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" came to life as the Headless Horseman came galloping across the fields and stopped in front of the barn...chilling...altho Chief (the horse) doesn't seen too worried...

These are great times to go riding! Cowboy Chris is a patient teacher with years of experience - and if you're already an experienced rider, he can still show you an equine fabulous time!

Just a hop, skip and a jump up to Machias! (part of Snohomish, WA...)

Today is Cowboy Chris' Birthday! Happy Birthday, Chris!

His parents tell a sweet story of when Chris was about 2 years old and met his first horse at a petting zoo/farm. The horse and Chris locked eyes - and the rest was history. He's been a horse fanatic ever since!

Wanna celebrate Chris' birthday, or someone else's birthday, or support a local business? How about a fun trail ride at Rafter 19 Stables! Blackberries of multiple varieties abound on the trails - riding and snacking at the same time! (altho I got a little wobbly on the horse when I tried to do this...so maybe not a good idea...)
