Mountain View Dog Ranch in Snohomish is looking to add another full or/and part-time members to our dog care team. We are a busy dog boarding facility located about half way between Snohomish and Granite Falls. We are looking for people that love and understand dogs, are comfortable around a large number of dogs all day long, have great work attitude, are focused, detail oriented and are team players.

Majority of the job includes supervising dogs playing in groups, walking dogs and monitoring boarder's behavior and functions, feeding, cleaning. This is a fun job but at times can be very demanding.

You must be in great physical condition. The job requires 10 - 15 miles of walking dogs, lifting 50 lbs, and extended periods of time outdoors in inclement weather. You must also have a flexible schedule, able to work some weekends and holidays. You must have reliable transportation and show up on time, every time. Starting pay is $14 per hour. At 90 days you will move immediately to $15 - 18 per hour depending on previous experience and qualification and if everything is a good fit for the both of us. There is an opportunity to grow to a lead and manager positions with even more increased pay.

Greetings Everyone!

Mountain View Dog Ranch is looking for another dependable and outgoing associate to join the crew that takes care of dogs while their humans are out of town. We start all employees well above minimum wage.

Here is what we are looking for:

Personal Characteristics

· People loving dogs with a positive and patient attitude
· Responsible, outgoing, team player and hardworking
· Attention to detail - Must be able to keep focus on groups of dogs to determine their mental and physical well being and their safety should any given dog get bullied or bothered by another dog
· Able and willing to learn how to handle dogs with different physical and mental challenges and to understand them and their needs
· In good physical shape - daily activities are physically demanding at times. Walking/exercising dogs can result in about 15 or more miles of walking per day. Dogs pull hard on leashes at times. All of the dogs we host are people friendly, but you must be able to physically control a dog on a leash that can get excited by different situations
· Customer service and empathy is huge to us. Our goals are to make sure the dogs we care for are happy and well taken care of and to make sure the owners requests and expectations are understood and met fully
· Ability to follow instructions and a check list

Daily Duties

· Play with and walk dogs and give them a lots of TLC
· Clean and sanitize the dog yards, dog rooms, common areas, and other similar cleaning and organizing tasks
· Feeding dogs – Attention to detail here is very important. All dogs are fed, given medication, and supplements according to the owners specifications
· Light yard maintenance, laundry, and other miscelaneous chores to keep everything clean and in order around dogs and the bussiness

Schedule Expectations

· We are very flexible on this but at a minimum we are looking for people that are willing to work between 20-40 hours a week. Preferably a full 40 hours. We can offer a flexible schedule to everyone. Our business volume is highly variable across the calendar year
· We can do 4 ten hour days or 3 thirteen hour days; weekends included in rotation
· Sometimes we are slower so you work 20 hours a week but the next week maybe 60 (yes we will pay overtime if this is the case)
· You cannot have all holidays off, but some. We are the busiest during holidays so we need you available for at least ½ of all holidays. We can negotiate which ones. No, you could not take Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas off. We need you for many of these days and will pay time and a half on national holidays
· Vacation – you can take unpaid time off during your first year. The second year full time employees will receive 80 hours of paid time away. The third year 120 hours
