With the big booms of fireworks and constant movement throughout the house, July 4th can cause a lot of unintended stress to your pet. Please note the following tips:
-If your pet needs anti-anxiety medications please let us know now! Practicing this medication before the day of the 4th will help to know how much or little your pet is affected by the medication.
- We will be closed on 7/4, so take the time to find the closest 24/7 ER clinic.
-Make sure your pet's microchip is registered. Accidental runaways are common, so put pets' on a leash or inside if possible. If you do not know if your pet's chip is registered, swing by the clinic! We are happy to scan and check.
-Many pets respond well to background noise to help mitigate the fireworks. Loud fans, music, and/or keeping the TV on can make a difference.
Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns. We are always happy to help!
