Bynum began Bull Creek Taxidermy in 1997, which quickly became one of the largest taxidermy shops in West Texas. Bynum has done taxidermy work for clientele all over United States, including country music celebrities John Michael Montgomery and George Strait, as well as Major League Baseball players Randy Velarde and Gabe White. We strive to offer a very personal approach to teaching, thus we keep

class sizes small. One of our mottoes is, "We are here to help you even after you leave the school." All of our ex-students may contact us at any time they need technical advice. The cost of our six-week class is $6,900, and the cost of our two-week class is $2,300. These costs include all specimens, supplies, tools, chemicals, forms, and equipment necessary to complete the course. All mounts will be the property of the student for display in their new business. A 10% deposit is required with all enrollment applications. Enrollments are accepted up to one week prior to the first day of class, unless the class limitation is reached prior to that date. Our remaining 2012 class dates for six-week courses are as follows: June 4-July 13 and September 10-October 21. Our remaining class dates for two-week courses are as follows: June 4-15 and September 10-23. We also offer a rock and habitat course on May 7-11 for $2,000. Class hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-5:30PM. Housing while attending classes will be the students responsibility, although there is limited housing available on site on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact us for more information.
