After 8 long months of being in the shelter, Royal is finally getting to experience the joys of a foster home... and to say he seems content is an understatement.

In the shelter, as we so often find with dogs, Royal struggles to be himself. The loud noises and constant movement is stressful on his gentle heart.

But, since being in a home, his true personality has begun to blossom. He is gracefully becoming the bouncy, loving, and happy dog he was always meant to be.

All he needs now is a forever family of his own to help him continue the journey.

For the first 10 years of her life, Isis was happy.

Briefly in our care as a puppy, she was adopted quickly and got to live in a home full of love, laughter, and joy.

Until one day, just a few short weeks ago, everything changed as she was returned to our shelter.

It's hard to imagine the immense emotions Isis now has to process. After nearly a decade of living in a home, how does one adjust to kennel-life, especially as a senior?

While many dogs would shut down, Isis keeps going. Her determination and love for life are unwavering. And we are hoping those two things will find her a new home, quickly.

Isis is a sweet girl who loves affection - she will take all the belly rubs she can get! Despite her age, she enjoys being active and is open to meeting other dogs.
