🚨SCAM ALERT 🚨

We’ve been made aware of a scam targeting pet owners in our community. Scammers are pretending to be from the San Antonio Humane Society and contacting people to claim they’ve found their missing pet. They then demand money for “urgent surgeries” or other situations.

Please note:
• The San Antonio Humane Society will never contact you to request money in this manner.
• If your pet is found, we will follow proper protocols to reunite you safely and securely.

Help us stop these scammers by sharing this message with your friends and family. Stay vigilant and keep your pets safe! 🐾

🌨️❄️ Winter is here, and it's time to keep our furry friends safe and warm! 🐾❤️

Here are some tips to ensure your pets stay cozy during the chilly weather:
1. **Provide Shelter**: Make sure your pets have a warm place to sleep, off the floor and away from drafts. Consider a cozy pet bed with blankets.
2. **Dress Up**: Short-haired pets might benefit from a sweater or coat when going outside.
3. **Limit Time Outdoors**: Keep outdoor activities short and monitor your pets for signs of discomfort or cold-related health issues.
4. **Hydrate**: Keep fresh, unfrozen water available at all times.
5. **Grooming**: Regular grooming helps maintain a healthy coat, which provides insulation against the cold.

🦃 Wednesday, November 27th: Closing early at 3:00 PM
🦃 Thursday, November 28th - Sunday, December 1st: CLOSED
