Today is Wreaths Across America Day. In honor of the Veterans that are laid to rest at the Historic Somerville Cemetery, Mayor Darren Tucker and Morgan County Commission Chairman Ray Long placed wreaths at the entrance to the cemetery. We are grateful for the sacrifices all Veterans and their families made for our great country.

Merry Christmas from Mayor Darren Tucker and the Town of Somerville!

Christmas with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Rather than a parade this year, we will be having a stew supper on Saturday, December 14th from 11am-2pm in the historic courthouse. Donations for the lunch will go toward the renovations of the courthouse. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to visit with the kids, as well as live Christmas music. Come celebration the Christmas season with us and enjoy some wonderful stew and chili! Please call town hall for more information at 256-778-8282.

The preschool kids from Somerville Baptist Church are having "bike day" and they are enjoying the use of the Historic Somerville Courthouse courtyard.
