For some, holidays are the hardest days. If you have found your way, please share your story. Someone needs to hear it. If you are struggling in silence, listen to the stories until you find your voice. When you do, someone who needs to hear it will be listening. I wish for all of us, the courage to help each other live our lives one day, one moment, at a time.

Fabulous Shepherd Ranch weekend! Congratulations to Kylie Jody Fencl Scott and Sarah Cullum for the 🥇 in TR and OP, respectively. Kim Goto Miner kept her eye on the prize to finish 🥈 in the NBN, while juggling all the show secretarial balls in the air. Have no idea how she does it but the absolute knowledge that I could not.

Little bobbles hear and there but everyone showed their ponies a productive and confidence building experience. Super proud of Shea Radford and Emily Doneen for piloting their New Beginning Sporthorses Foundation mounts around to finish solidly in Intro. Tamara Solange and Caila Solange Anderson’s Dylan had a green xc moment but finished strong after a fabulous dressage and double clear show jump. Excited to have Deborah Doneen, Katy Rishoff and Lauren Sherrill back at it with us and look forward to their fall season.
Terrific fun sharing the barn aisle with Katrine Nielsen and the kids of A Lotte Horses Riding School. It’s a pretty fantastic group of humans we get to enjoy our horses with.

Along with KGM, huge thanks to Ken and Bunnie Sexton for opening their facility for our enjoyment, the crew and the VOLUNTEERS!! Omg you guys are rockstars!! A special thank you to KGM’s family for all that you do: Momma Janet and the littles, Jake and Jaxson, who were absolutely wonderful at the in gate and running scores ❤️

Everyone is posting their videos so I’ll refrain (translation: epic trainer fail on the whole video thing)

Tamara Solange and Caila Solange Anderson’s
Dylan put his big boy pants on and is now a beginner novice horse!! A couple of green cross country moments kept us from finishing on our winning dressage score of 18.8 😳 but he more than made up for it with a stellar double clear show jump round 🦄 Getting harder to remember the lad who was too terrified to leave the start box last fall ❤️

Amazing time had by all with everyone finishing with a number and many with prizes. Our barn family keeps growing and it was wonderful to share the barn aisle with all of you. And to all the trainers bringing up the next generation, you are doing a fantastic job and I am more excited for the future of our sport than ever before.

On that note, huge thanks to Ken and Bunnie Sexton for providing the Grasshopper and Intro divisions in the form of their intended purpose. Watching newcomers fall in love with the sport that has been my life’s work means more than I can say.

And last and always most, to my ride or die, Kim Goto Miner, you are an amazing force of nature and we will continue to try to help you even though it is usually easier to do it yourself. We will evolve. I promise 😂😘
