As a lifetime animal lover, Katy knew at a young age that she would someday work with pets for a living. Growing up she started pet sitting and dog walking at 14 and it became a passion. While working at a dog training facility Katy started bathing and fell in love with grooming dogs. It was this love of grooming that eventually led Katy to attend and graduate from Allen's Academy of Grooming. Sho

rtly after graduating, Katy was hired by Ann Martin of Feldspar Pet Spa. She blossomed as a professional groomer, honing her skills with many different breeds, including show grooming for Standard Poodles. Katy continues her education by regularly attending trade shows and seminars to keep up with the ever-changing grooming world.
