• Retain all the great traits of the Hereford Cattle.
• They are registered in the American Hereford Association after they are checked for the dwarfism gene.
• Mini average weighs 700 to 1000 lbs. Cows about 46 inches and bulls about 48 inches at the hip.

Miniature Hereford History
The Hereford cattle breed was started in Herefordshire, England 250 years ago. They were first brought to the United States in the 19th Century. The Miniature Hereford breeding was started on a ranch in the Davis Mountains of Texas. They used certified dwarf free Hereford bloodlines. Laser was the bull used to accomplish size reduction. The first Miniature Hereford was sold in 1991. They are now Minis in many states, Canada , and Australia.
