‼️HELP WANTED ‼️

Main job will be throwing dead ducks. You’ll be working outside in all weather, must touch dead ducks, follow directions, like dogs, show up, and at least try a little. Pay depends on if you show up and try. Opportunity for raises the better you do and longer you stay.
Job will also include cleaning kennels, washing truck and trailer, bathing dogs, feeding dogs, and assisting with field work. You’ll be able to get all the hours you want or as little. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Message on here or Call/text 502-931-3187 for more information.

Good luck to everyone starting the National Amateur tomorrow! Specially John Broucek with Percy and Wayne Stupka with Kate. They both did a little training here before. They both also threw birds for some of my mutts so even more reason to cheer them on.

We had a long but good weekend at Lincoln Trail and Bluegrass Retriever Club Double D/Q. Even with high entries and some bad weather the club members, workers, and judges kept everything going as well as you could.

Brock ran his first trial with Keke finishing 3rd in the Bluegrass Qual and giving her a good start to finish 2nd in the Lincoln Trail Qual.

Woody won the Bluegrass derby.

Kate and Moon finished with a JAM in the Lincoln Trail Qual.

Had a fun weekend at River King Retriever Club. Brought some extra help with me. She watched the puppies and helped feed them when she wasn’t in the pool. Woody finished with a 4th in the derby. Kate finished with a 4th in the Qualifying.

Had some chilly mornings at Bluegrass Retriever Club this weekend but definitely worth it. We had a dog finish in every stake. Moose finished 2nd in his first derby. Chief finished 3rd in the Open. This is Chief’s first Open placement. 3rd place for a three year old isn’t too bad. Hal and Ace finished up the weekend with a JAM in the amateur.

Thanks to all the judges and club members for putting in the work to make a great trial.

Can’t complain about training in this weather a few days before Christmas. Retired bird up the middle, flyer on the left, stand out on the right. More trouble on the standout than anything.

Percy QA2 (14.5 All Age points) X Keke MH QAA

Black and chocolate puppies expected.

Pretty excited about this breeding. Percy has consistently finished All Age trials this year. Obtaining 14 points this year and qualifying for the 23 National Open and 24 National Amateur. He has multiple offspring on the derby list and looks like they’re moving up well.

Keke has been here since the day she was born. She’s done everything I’ve asked of her. She has her master title, Finished passes, and QAA. She is now running All Age. She has multiple QAA littermates and a littermate sister with an Open win and Amateur placements.

We don’t really do a lot of breedings but it’s always good to see one work out. This is Georgia she’s owned by Lois Gebrian and from our Gracie X Blue litter. They won the Open at Maryland Retriever Club this weekend. This is their second All-Age placement this fall. She’s got early gray like her mom she’s only 5. Excited to see what they keep doing.

We’ve been busy and haven’t kept up on post but had a good weekend at Bluegrass Retriever Club. Weather was great and everything ran smoothly all weekend.

All three derby dogs ran well. Ryder finished with 3rd. Legend finished with 4th. His second placement in three trials. Rip and his owner finished with a JAM in his first derby.

In the Qual Boone finished fourth. This is his second placement in a row. Gator finished with a RJ he’s finished 2/3 quals this fall. Moon finished with a JAM.
