Mom will likely be back soon. Leave her babies alone, please!

When a person comes across a litter of kittens, their good-hearted instincts tell them to rush to the kittens' aid. Surprisingly, human intervention is usually not needed! If you come across a young litter, often the best thing you can do is leave them alone. Their mom will likely be back soon, and it's critical that the kittens remain in her care β€” their best chance for survival is at her side. Of course, if you find kittens that are ill or mom doesn't return within eight hours, you can then step in and help.

We don't always have available foster homes for all the "abandoned" kittens we get calls about. But if you're truly certain that there's no mom cat (remember, she can see and/or smell you, even if you don't see her, so vacate the area and give her a chance to come back to her babies), you can give us a call. If we don't have a foster home at hand, we can teach you how to raise the kittens yourself. Thanks for caring! ❀🐾

Dear Beloved Clients,

We want to thank you for being a part of what makes our practice so special. And because we are facing some very difficult circumstances, we thought it best to share the following information about how we are currently operating. As you may know, the spring and summer months are typically our busiest time of the year. This year is no exception. While MOST OF YOU have been patient and have shown your appreciation toward our efforts to keep a full schedule, we unfortunately have a few folks who have expressed their frustrations and anger toward our staff regarding our availability as a hospital.

To be sure, our support staff (receptionists, technicians and kennel staff) are tirelessly working to ensure that we keep our very packed schedule running on time and moving smoothly. Our team is, quite frankly, exhausting themselves in an effort to keep our hospital moving. Please understand, this hospital cannot operate without having this type of dedicated support staff.

While we understand that this pandemic has increased stress levels all over the world, we do need to ask for your patience and understanding. Through it all, our staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that they provide the best possible service to all of our wonderful clients and their beloved pets.

Please be assured that our Veterinarians are seeing the maximum number of patients possible, while still maintaining the high level of care that everyone is accustomed to. If you have not been able to secure the appointment time that you expected, it is only because we are already overwhelmed with sick animals and critical needs for the day; and we are unquestionably unable to treat another patient.

The owners of this hospital make every effort to take care of the staff and work hard at fostering an environment of support for our team. They know the level of demands that are generated from this hospital on a daily basis.

That being said, our owners will absolutely not compromise the wellbeing of the team. They are not willing to tolerate any verbal abuse directed toward our staff.

Therefore, we seek the following….
- Please do your best to interact with our team with patience and understanding.
- Please keep in mind that our team is doing the very best to serve you.
- If you need to express your frustrations, please ask to speak to a manager.
- Please do not direct your anger toward our staff.
- Any verbal abuse or degradation of our team will not be tolerated.

We know that we have the best clients around and so we thank you so much for working together with us to meet the needs of your pets.
