Hi everyone, I’m Shyla! 🖤🐾

First the sad. I don’t like to beg or plead but I must. I’ve been at FOAC a whole year with absolutely no interest! You can’t imagine how devastating that is for a perfect dog like me.

As you can probably see I’m really pretty, even more so in person of course.
I’m more than just another pretty dog though!
I am CGC certified. I am smart and I don’t mind working for my treats. I’d be happy to show you all the things I’ve learned, sit, stay, shake, lay down, and my excellent recall. I would really love a family that includes me in their life. I’m an active girl and would love to do things with you! I’d take really well to other playful pups as well!

Hi! I know it’s been a while but just want to let you Know that Ginger is my heart. She has come such a long way, from chasing the horses and chickens to now understanding that they are off limits. She walks by my side and if she chases a rabbit or squirrel she always comes back. She is confident, intuitive, intelligent,loving and loyal . She has a way of stealing everyone’s heart…people, even non dog people fall in love with her. Take care and I hope that you are doing well!

In the first annual "Whiskers and Toe Beans" fundraiser, Sonora Cat Rescue is partnering with three other incredible organizations focused on helping community cats in our area: Motherlode Feral Cat Alliance, Tuolumne Spay and Neuter, and FOAC. 😻

Join us on Caturday, August 3 at Indigeny Reserve in Sonora for food, fun, art, and a DOG-FRIENDLY walk-a-thon with prizes! We will be done by 1pm to beat the heat. Activities for kids, great stuff for grown-ups, and a whole lot of good for our community cats. COME! WALK! EAT! PLAY! DO IT!

Collaboration is where it's at. By working together, we can do so much more than we could ever do individually. 2024 is the beginning of the end of this cat population crisis!
