This is really the type of world we live in, this is WHY we need to vet people we adopt to and this is WHY it’s so important to actually do thorough application processes on people. Unfortunately you just never really know and obviously in this specific situation he had easy access to stray cats and took advantage of that and did some very horrible things. If you see something that is wrong/abuse get help, sitting in silence makes you part of the problem!!!!!
This is so infuriating to me and so very sad. I hope justice gets served her and not just a slap on the wrist as we see far too often with animal welfare.

These kitten photos are too cute not to share with the world🩷 this pretty much sums it up they wrestle beat each other, clean each other. Sleep, eat & repeat!!

Unfortunately this cuteness overload brings me to the topic of where kittyMamas is at currently. We are regrettably at the point where we need to put a hold on our intake:(

July/August is the worst months for rescues as families are on vacations and adoptions come to an abrupt halt. This leaves kittens/cats with no where to go as we are all sitting still and struggling.
With no open Foster’s, fosters needing coverage and no income with the minimal adoptions and donations coming in we are sadly forced to do this… the good news here is all of this is it is not permanent and is not forever and can be lifted quickly with the help of all of you!!!
⭐️⭐️🐾We have a balance at metro still that needs to be paid and a lot of spay/neuter appointments upcoming in the near future which is several hundred dollars at a time..
🙌Emergency temp Foster‘s can make all the difference in our availability and ability to say yes we can help.
🥵We need to somehow come up with some of these funds or to where we feel comfortable and confident before reopening our doors for intake. We are so sorry that we have to be doing this right now, but unfortunately, everybody is struggling .

📍We have 2 invoices totaling $1,100 - this needs to be paid ASAP!! If anyone can sponsor any of these cats or TNRs it would help Tremendously.
🐾📍 Metro Veterinarian Hospital - $2,158 is owed!

ONCE FOSTERS open up and ADOPTIONS pick back up and some of our minor bills are paid, we can open up our intake! It pains us to do this as we do not like to turn people away but our hands are tied!

Help us welcome sweet Holly to KMSR crew!! She originally had a sibling who found a home. She was the last one left so we brought her into our care. The family who found them made sure to get them their first vaccines and they even went and got her FIVFELV tested!! This was a huge help, this means we could bring her in and after a little bit of time put her with some other kittens that is in her age group! No kitten should end up alone!!  Holly was inside and quarantined for an extended amount of time!! She is eight weeks old !! Since she has tested dewormed and vaccinated she can go into our Foster To Adopt program !! We also highly suggest not using certain products. Nutri-vet// Harts products in any form or any off brand SOS: products especially with very little reviews or positive feedback. Cheaper can cost them their lives or a massive medical bill that could’ve been easily avoided.

Emergency warning for all pet parents. Apparently counterfeit flea treatments such as Frontline are being sold and killing and injuring animals. We recommend buying directly from your vet or from reputable places like Chewy and pet stores. If they are a lot cheaper somewhere else it’s for a reason. We also never recommend the Hartz brand. We have seen too many animals suffer from their products.

Keep your kitties safe and keep them inside and only use reputable stores!

If you see kittens like this.. do NOT wait it out. If you don’t know call for advice! Some situations are suitable to “wait out” others are not. If a mama cat leaves her newly born kittens right after birth & goes on about her day.. it’s VERY likely there is a reason and the kittens only chance of surviving is with human intervention like thankfully happened with these poor babies. Help support Foxy's Cradle so they can continue their good work. People don’t realize how lucky we are to have a neonatal rescue so close to us.
