Indian Valley Animal Hospital will be having a delay start for Monday, January 20th 2025 to allow for extra road clean up and travel safety for both our clients and staff commute after the recent storm in our area and pending severe low temperature drop.

Antifreeze (ethylene glycol) is found in products such as car screen wash, brake and radiator fluid. If it’s swallowed (even in small amounts), it’s extremely toxic and causes fatal damage to the kidneys and nervous system. Unfortunately, ethylene glycol is naturally sweet which, is why our pets are often tempted to drink it from leaky car radiators or driveway spillages.

Should your pet ingest this, the ASPA Pet Poison Control Hotline should be called IMMEDIATELY at (888) 426-4435. A case number and instructions will be provided. Then proceed to the closest 24 hour Emergency and Specialty veterinary hospital. A list of these facilities can be found on our website: www.IVAH.com
