Good morning!
I've seen all the signs about the upcoming road closures on 123a happening soon (since I finally left the house for once lol)! I will still be open! But I will also be looking at alternative routes to share with you all for anyone that wants to bring their pets for appointments. There are a few roads to get here so I'll share those soon.

I'm still running, still grooming, still here! I should have a new sign up sooooon hopefully haha it keeps blowing off so I'm trying to get a more permanent sign figured out. Thank you all for your continued support and patience with all the craziness happening around here!

Here's a few baths I did this week! Not all Goldens get haircuts, and this Husky guy definitely needed a blow out! His head is a little wet in this pic but I made sure it wasn't when he went home. Haha they were both great. I hope you're having a good start to the week!

Hi folks! I just want to let you know I'm still here! Still working. My sign blew off out front, AGAIN. But that's has no meaning, its just been windy lately and my poor little sign can't handle it. Haha 😆 I hope you're having a good spring so far! And I hope you had a nice Easter weekend!

Hi everyone,

I want to take a moment and thank you for allowing me to groom your dogs and be part of this community. I want to say a huge thank you to all of you for all your support last year and all the years the shop has been open. It really means a lot to me. I know I'm not perfect and the shop isn't either. But I work really hard to do my best and be good at what I do for your pets. Your support really means a lot to me. I pay for many parts of our family's bills so you all have helped me do that. I am so grateful that you trust me with your pets and to do the work I do.

I hope that last year was a good one for you and hopefully this year will be too. I hope to see you again soon 🖤

Good morning, all! Happy New Year (even though it's been a few weeks)

I'm still here! Still grooming and working. The holiday season was particularly busy, but now that we're through the holidays, things have slowed down a bit. If you want to get your dog in, feel free to call or message. I have some openings in the new few weeks.

I mostly just wanted to post because I know it's been a bit since my last one. I AM still working and here.

Hi, all. Happy almost Halloween!
I'm almost booked up completely for November so if you're wanting to get your dog in before the holiday season, reach out soon so we can reserve your spot. I have moved my Saturdays to just 1 a month so they're booking up faster than usual.

I'm still here, working away! I know I don't post often. I'm just bad at social media. But if the shop was closed or was going to close, you'd definitely hear about it. So please don't take my terrible social media skills as a sign of anything. Haha

Hey, all! So I was contemplating the idea of moving my shop to a different location, but it just didn't work out. I've had a hard time finding anything in my price range or appropriate for dog grooming. I'm a bit sad about it, but it's alright! I'm still grooming in our home, and that's working well. Nothing has changed! But I do thank you all for your input. I'll definitely keep it in mind if I ever am able to find a place that works for us

Due to a large increase in appointment cancellations, I've decided to change my cancellation policy. It feels like people make appointments and just think it's fine if they don't show up or change it the day of. It's pretty frustrating to tell clients they have to wait a month to get in, but then have all my appointments cancel for the week. Literally, last week I had 3 full days of appointments cancel or reschedule. My family does rely on this business. I can't afford to just have people not show up. Either take your appointment seriously or don't make one. It's very simple. So here's the new policy. I will be enforcing it strictly. I will also be attaching it to all messages confirming appointments and notifying anyone on the phone that schedules an appointment. Thank you for understanding

Granite State Grooming cancellation policy: We are a small business that operates by appointment. When you schedule a grooming appointment with us, the time slot is held specifically for your dog. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please do so with 48 hour notice. Please allow more than 48 hour notice if you have been holding a spot for more than one dog. Clients who do not give 48 hour notice or no-show to an appointment will be charged $25 for first offense and 50% or more for multiple offenses. Clients with excessive late cancellations and/or appointment no-shows will be required to prepay future appointments or be referred out. All fees will be applied to the following appointment if one is scheduled for the future.
