We love upcycling and don't often share when we do, BUT this project is special. These wood flower magnets used to be candle lids. Restoration Candle Company had a few extra so we flipped them into something super fun (and pretty). These are $5/each and $1 of each is going to go back to Chloe to donate to Bags of Hope. Make sure you show up early to Janesville Farmers Market, Inc tomorrow if you want to grab one! 🥰🥰

“Paw”ty Pack! These adorable packs are perfect for sharing. The large has 5 flavors, one cutout treat and one mini woofle. The small has 3 flavors of cutouts and mini Woofles. I’ll have them at the tomorrow from 8a-12pm. Don’t forget….the market will close early due to the heat! Stay safe and hydrated!!

🚨 Weekend Weather Update 🚨
Because of the forecasted extreme heat, the Janesville Farmers Market will be closing early at 12 PM this Saturday, June 21.

We’re making this decision out of care for the safety of our vendors, volunteers, and visitors. If you’re planning to visit, we recommend coming early and staying hydrated!

Well Dolly, we hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are actually lots of treats and pet food made with euthanized pets.

It's horrifying, but unfortunately true. In the industry, the term 4D meats refer to dead, diseased, dying or disabled animals used in food and treats. These animals are not humanely slaughtered for pet food manufacturering, they are roadkill, diseased farm animals, dead zoo animals and yes, even euthanized pets. This is the dirty side of pet food manufacturering the industry doesn't want you to see.

Avoiding these disturbing ingredients is easy! Flip the bag or box over and read the ingredients. If you see any unidentified proteins, typically listed as "animal or meat" that's a clear indication the manufacturer is using 4D meat. If we don't know the source animal, we cannot feed the product.

So unfortunately Dolly, as disturbing and horrifying as it may be to know some products on the market do contain euthanized pets, at least when we do know what to look for, we can do better and avoid products containing 4D meat.
