How important is it to Ragdoll kitten adopters who do not want breeding rights that the kittens are registered with Tica or other cat organizations? As long as the sire and dam are registered, being proof that their kittens are purebred ragdolls, is it important to most buyers that their nonbreeding kitten is registered? I’ve had quite a few people in the past 7 years that really didn’t want the hassle of registering their kitten(s) in their own names with Tica. Thoughts?

What do you say to an adopter who is not happy with their kitten? The kitten is 7 months old. She bites and attacks the mom, no one else, not the 7 yr old, not the nanny, not the Grandma, just the mom. I have offered to exchange out the kitten and suggested a male. I also suggested getting a second kitten, a male so the kitten is not bored while everyone is gone for a long day everyday. She says they have a very quiet peaceful home and want a quiet laid back peaceful ragdoll kitten. I told her ragdolls aren’t fully mature til 4 yrs old and that even my adults run through the house playing and jumping and chasing each other. What would you say to this person as a breeder of beautiful ragdolls? Through our conversations I feel like she is not an animal lover and just having a kitten for her daughter and perhaps not accepting it as a family member and long time commitment. Also this person is a coach of a prominent team and travels alot, thus the need for the nanny. Maybe the cat sees her as an intruder. Thoughts?
