Sometimes our cats need a lot of patience. 💜

If you’ve met Peridot, more than likely she’s been a bit sassy. 💚

She’s just one of those gals that likes things calm and comfortable and on her terms. ✅

Here’s an example of when she’s comfortable in the lounge and very playful! 🎉

Her adoption fee is sponsored so all she needs is someone with a lot of patience and love to give to this purrfect cat. Preferably with a quiet home.

The sweetest couple fell in love with Mary Shelley when they saw her online. Her soulful eyes caught their attention and they came to meet her, then spent an hour getting to know her. 💕

Mary will be spoiled, so loved and is now a sister to two senior cats! 💜

Adoption #125!!! 🎉🎉🎉

If you’ve visited us in the past few months, you may or may NOT have met
Unnamed Narrator. 🧡

His first week in the lounge, he hid under the couch the whole time. 🥲

He spent some time by himself to get more comfortable with the new environment and still was a shy guy when he came back to the lounge. But SUPER friendly and lovey. 💕

Slowly but surely, he would begin to peek out from the couch or his fave hiding spot, the donut. He loves pets and playing with the wand toys. 😻

This crew visited recently and fell in love! 🧡🧡🧡. Narrator hit the jackpot with them and we are beyond happy for him and his fur-ever home!

Adoption #124 - Molecule, our longest resident! 💕

💕 A love story like no other. 💕

The Ellis family visited us in May and fell in love with Molecule. 💕 This busy family had a full summer of traveling ahead of them, and knew that it was not the right time to bring a new cat into the home.

Mom Sarah would message me once every few weeks to check on Molecule, to see how he was doing and if he was still with us and available. 💕 We don’t do holds, so they just hoped that he would still be here when they were ready.

Fast forward to today! 🎉🎉🎉

They arrived with a carrier and huge smiles on their faces to pick up their guy! Molecule is joining two other cats and a dog along with this fun group of kids.

Sometimes things work out exactly as they should and this is one of those moments. 💜

#123 is Admiral Toe Beans! 🎉🎉🎉

Mary and Rodney have been with us since the beginning. 💕
They adopted Dorothy, now Nesta, soon after we opened. They attend Bingo every month, bring goodies for the cats and sponsored an adoption last year. 💕 We couldn’t be happier that they added this cutie pie to their family!

She’s quite the magical fruit and we are so happy for her new parents! 💕 #122

They visited and fell in love with her, then filled out their application later that evening. ✅
They came back to visit her two more times before her official adoption appointment. 🐈‍⬛
That is true love right there! 💕

It takes a bit of patience sometimes when adopting a cat from us. Our partner Humane Society of St. Joseph County handles the entire process and of course, they are also working on adoptions at the shelter. 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

We appreciate everyone who chooses to adopt from us and we know it is always worth the wait!! 💜💜💜
